The City of Oshkosh Council met for regular session June 13, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
In compliance with the Open Meetings Act of Nebraska, a current copy of the act is posted in the Council Chambers. Notice of this meeting was advertised in the Garden County News and posted at the Oshkosh Post Office, City Hall and Courthouse. The agenda for this meeting was kept current and available for inspection at City Hall.
Mayor Davis called the meeting to order and read the Open Meetings Act, LV 898.
Present: Mayor, Terry Davis & Council Members: Mike Piva, George Zoucha, Absent: Gary DeCock, Jaden Porter. Also attending: Deputy Clerk Kim Martin, City Attorney, Rory Roundtree, Erica Bush with WCNDD, Brad Howell, and Tina Sullivan.

Erica Busch, representing WCNDD gave a presentation on nuisance properties. Motion by Piva seconded by Zoucha to declare nuisance by Resolution No. 4-24, No. 5-24, No. 6-24, No. 7-24, No. 8-24, No. 9-24, No. 10-24, No. 11-24, No. 12-24, No. 13-24, No. 14-24, No. 15-24, No. 16-24, No. 17-24, No. 18-24, No. 19-24, No. 20-24, No.21-24, No. 22-24. Brad Howell gave update on Hospital.

Council discussed in great detail about a summer recycling program. Council will research cost and options.
Roundtree discussed with Council about continuing the LB 840 and LB357 and placing on upcoming ballot. Council discussed how the Economic Development Program has assisted several local businesses and new businesses with a little over One Million dollars in low interest loans and a little over Twenty Thousand dollars in grants since 2015.
